One of the stranded tourists, Isha Chaudhary, recounted the harrowing experience. "While we were coming downhill, we witnessed heavy rain and the river's water flow increased, so we got stranded on the hill. As soon as I got network on my phone, I called emergency numbers to seek help," she said.
Fortunately, the timely actions of the authorities ensured a safe rescue for all the stranded tourists. Last night, after 10 p.m., the dedicated rescue team reached the location and swiftly evacuated the tourists, bringing them to safety. The Himachal Pradesh Police and the disaster management teams were instrumental in coordinating the rescue efforts, responding promptly to the distress call.
Isha Chaudhary expressed her gratitude to the rescue team and the authorities involved in the operation. "Himachal Police and disaster management teams responded timely and helped us," she said, acknowledging their prompt and effective response.
