Raipur, Chhattisgarh: Today, Chhattisgarh took a leap forward on the path of development as Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi dedicated five national highway projects worth ₹6,400 crore. The ceremony, held in Raipur, marked a significant milestone in the state's progress.

The auspicious occasion witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including the Governor of Chhattisgarh, Shri Biswabhusan Harichandan, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, Union Minister Shri Mansukh Mandaviya, Deputy Chief Minister Shri T.S. Singh Deo, along with other ministers, representatives, and officials.

The inauguration and foundation-laying ceremonies of these projects today will accelerate the pace of development in Chhattisgarh. The state will emerge as a vital contributor to a self-reliant and prosperous India.

One of the projects inaugurated today was the four-lane road construction from Bilaspur to Pathrapali. This road will enhance connectivity from Raipur to Ambikapur and Varanasi, facilitating smoother transportation to the region's coal mines. Additionally, it will provide improved access for pilgrims traveling to the prominent religious site of Ratanpur.

Another significant project unveiled was the construction of a four-lane road from Raipur to Kodarabod, enabling better connectivity between southern and central parts of Chhattisgarh with Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. This development will enhance transportation efficiency for goods produced in the region's steel plants.
