Agartala, August 30, 2023: A recent collaborative action between Assam Rifles and the Kumarghat Police Station has resulted in a significant drug bust. The operation, which occurred in Kumarghat, Unakoti District, Tripura, targeted drug trafficking and led to the arrest of three individuals. Authorities seized 558 grams of heroin during the operation, with an estimated value of about Rs 2.25 crore.

This joint effort was triggered by credible information about ongoing drug trade activities in the area. In response to growing concerns over the illicit drug trade, law enforcement agencies joined forces to tackle the issue.
