Chandigarh: In a move to address pressing operational needs for maintaining law and order, peace, and security, the Haryana State Government has taken a significant decision to relocate the Battalion Headquarters of 2nd IRB (Indian Reserve Battalion) from Police Complex, Bhondsi to District Nuh.

The order, issued by T.V.S.N. Prasad, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary to the Government, Haryana, Home Department, Chandigarh, is effective immediately as of 02.08.2023.

Request to Authorities for Compliance

Copies of the order have been forwarded to several key authorities, including the Director General of Police, Haryana, Panchkula, and the Additional Director General of Police, Law and Order, Haryana, Panchkula. The respective authorities have been urged to take appropriate and necessary actions to ensure the smooth relocation of the Battalion Headquarters.
Furthermore, the Inspector General of Police, IRB, Bhondsi Gurugram, and the Superintendent of Police, District Nuh, have been notified of the shift. The Inspector General of Police is requested to make arrangements to establish the Battalion Headquarters in the designated location until permanent arrangements are finalized.
