Law and Order Concerns Grow as Criminal Activity Escalates in Bihar
Jehanabad, Bihar: A video has been rapidly circulating on social media, capturing a shocking incident at a government office in Jehanabad, Bihar. In the viral footage, several individuals are seen entering the government office and demanding extortion, with one person brandishing a pistol. Following the video's virality, panic has gripped the local police administration.
The incident unfolded at the Kansua Panchayat building in the Ratanifari Prakhand of Jehanabad. Here, a man named Amin Balmukund Kumar was confronted and brutally assaulted by criminals who threatened him with a firearm. Someone at the scene recorded the incident on their mobile phone and shared it online, causing it to go viral. In the video, a young man seated on a chair initially engages in a heated argument with a government official. Later, he becomes enraged, assembles his gang, and points a pistol at Amin while issuing threats, ultimately resorting to physical violence.
The commotion caused by the pistol-wielding youth escalates inside the Panchayat building, with onlookers shouting and screaming. Amin Balmukund Kumar, the victim in this case, recounted the incident, stating that Badhu Yadav, residing in Khairuchak Mathiya of the Ratanifari Prakhand, along with his accomplices, entered his office and demanded extortion while threatening violence. When he refused to comply with their demands, not only did they physically assault him but also brandished a pistol, threatening to shoot him before fleeing the scene.
Local authorities were quick to respond to the incident. Deepak Ranjan, the Superintendent of Police in Jehanabad, expressed concern over the matter and assured that it was being taken seriously. Rajeev Kumar Singh, the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Shakurabad, visited the area and initiated an investigation into the incident. The police are actively conducting raids to apprehend the culprits, and it is expected that all suspects will be in custody soon.
This alarming incident serves as a stark reminder of the increasing audacity of criminals in Bihar, and the local law enforcement agencies are leaving no stone unturned to bring the perpetrators to justice.
