Salman Khan and Arijit Singh Reunite for "Tiger 3," Ending a Decade-Long Feud

Bollywood Mega-Stars Collaborate After Nearly a Decade of Estrangement
Bollywood enthusiasts can rejoice as a much-awaited reconciliation story unfolds before their eyes. Superstar Salman Khan has announced a surprising collaboration with renowned playback singer Arijit Singh for his upcoming film, "Tiger 3." This exciting development brings an end to a feud that has spanned nearly a decade, marking a significant milestone in the Indian film industry.

The eagerly anticipated reunion between these two Bollywood heavyweights comes seven years after a highly publicized falling out that originated during the production of "Sultan" and included a memorable exchange at an award show in 2014.

Salman Khan chose Instagram as his platform to unveil the first glimpse of their collaborative effort. The sneak peek was in the form of a still from "Tiger 3's" first song titled "Leke Prabhu Ka Naam." In this image, Khan and his co-star Katrina Kaif are seen dressed to the nines, hinting at an electrifying dance number reminiscent of the captivating end-credit songs from the previous two installments of the "Tiger" franchise.

In the snapshot, Katrina Kaif exuded glamour in a red crop top and white denim shorts adorned with red-and-white fur on her sleeves, paired with white earrings. Salman Khan sported a black shirt and stylish sunglasses, exuding his characteristic charisma. The backdrop featured a group of background dancers, alluding to an energetic and visually stunning song sequence. Salman captioned the post, "Pehle gaane ki pehli jhalak (The first glimpse of the first song) #LekePrabhuKaNaam! Oh haan, yeh hai Arijit Singh ka pehla gaana mere liye (Oh yes, this is Arijit Singh's first song for me). Song out on 23rd Oct."

The eagerly awaited song, "Leke Prabhu Ka Naam," is set to release a week after the trailer's scheduled drop on Monday, October 23. The music for the song is composed by Pritam, featuring lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya and choreography by the talented Vaibhavi Merchant.

The Salman-Arijit feud dates back to 2014, when Arijit Singh, while accepting an award, infamously appeared in slippers at a prominent award show. In response, Salman Khan playfully teased him, asking, "Tu hai winner? (You're the winner?)" Arijit Singh retorted, saying, "Sula diya aap sab ne (You guys bored me to sleep)." This incident led to Arijit's removal from several of Salman's projects, including "Kick," "Bajrangi Bhaijaan," and "Sultan." Arijit Singh later penned an apology letter to the actor, but he eventually retracted it.

The anticipation for "Tiger 3" is building as it is set to grace the big screens on November 12, coinciding with the Diwali festival. This third installment of the "Tiger" franchise is expected to be a blockbuster, not only for its action-packed storyline but also for the highly awaited reunion of Salman Khan and Arijit Singh. The reconciliation marks a significant chapter in Bollywood's history, demonstrating the power of forgiveness and second chances.
