MUMBAI, 22 December 2023: In a major breakthrough, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Mumbai successfully dismantled an Indo-Australia drug syndicate, leading to the confiscation of drugs valued at Rs. 3 crore. The seized contraband includes 9.877 kilograms of Amphetamine intercepted from a parcel bound for Australia.
Additionally, law enforcement seized 2.548 kilograms (equivalent to 9800 tablets) of Zolpidem Tartrate and 6.545 kilograms (equivalent to 18700 tablets) of Tramadol. This significant operation resulted in the arrest of three individuals, marking a crucial step in the fight against drug trafficking.
The NCB in Mumbai is currently engaged in further investigations to uncover additional details about the syndicate and its operations. This successful operation showcases the commitment of law enforcement to combat the illegal drug trade and protect communities from the detrimental effects of narcotics.
