Ayodhya, December 30, 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to mark a historic day in Ayodhya as he inaugurates the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport Ayodhya Dham, redeveloped Ayodhya Dham Railway Station, and launches new Amrit Bharat and Vande Bharat trains. The visit also includes laying the foundation stone for various projects totaling over Rs 15,000 crore in value.

The unveiling of the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport Ayodhya Dham is a significant milestone, designed to enhance connectivity and facilitate smoother access for domestic and international travelers. The airport, completed in a record time of 20 months by the Airport Authority of India (AAI), is anticipated to contribute to Ayodhya's global appeal.

In addition to the airport inauguration, PM Modi will flag off the new Amrit Bharat trains and Vande Bharat trains, marking advancements in the nation's rail network. The redeveloped Ayodhya Dham Railway Station further adds to the infrastructure overhaul, aligning with the vision of transforming Ayodhya into a world-class city.

The Prime Minister's visit also encompasses a public program scheduled around 1 PM, where he will dedicate these projects to the nation. This event includes laying the foundation stone for projects valued at approximately Rs 11,100 crore dedicated to the development of Ayodhya and its surrounding areas. Another set of projects, totaling around Rs 4600 crore, will focus on various developments across Uttar Pradesh.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak expressed gratitude, stating, "It's a fortunate day for us. Under the guidance of PM Modi, the international airport will be inaugurated. The entire infrastructure is changing. I thank PM Modi for it, Ayodhya is changing... It's getting developed as a world-class city."

As the preparations for the visit include heavy security arrangements, Praveen Kumar, IG Ayodhya Zone, assured, "Proper arrangements have been made in view of PM Narendra Modi's visit today. All programs will be conducted successfully."

Reflecting on the significance of PM Modi's visit, Chief Priest of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, Acharya Satyendra Das, shared, "It is good that PM Narendra Modi is coming here and he will inaugurate the railway station, airport today. He will also hold a road show. People will be happy after seeing PM Modi in Ayodhya. The airport will help people from abroad and across the country to come to Ayodhya easily."

The transformative developments initiated by PM Modi in Ayodhya are poised to elevate the city's status and contribute to its overall growth and connectivity on both national and global scales.
