Patna, 11 December, 23: In a shocking incident, a student was brutally shot dead on Monday morning in Masaurhi, near the state capital Patna, bringing attention to the escalating crime rates in Bihar. The victim, identified as Anamika, a 17-year-old girl residing in Nadwan Chapaur Kajichak, was targeted just 500 meters away from the local police station, adding to the growing concerns about safety in the region.
The assailant, a young man lurking near Manichak Mod, took aim at Anamika, who was on her way to coaching classes. A single gunshot struck her temple, instantly bringing her to the ground, and tragically, she lost her life on the spot. Anamika, the deceased, was the daughter of Kamlesh Kumar from Nadwan Chapaur Kajichak. She commuted daily from her village to Masaurhi for coaching.
