BENGAL, 24 January 2024: West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, recently clarified her political position, affirming that she has had no discussions with the Congress party. Emphasizing her commitment to fighting solo in Bengal, Banerjee stated, "I am not concerned about national dynamics, but in Bengal, we will independently take on the BJP. We are a secular party, and our focus is on defeating the BJP within the state."
Addressing rumors of collaboration, Banerjee declared her allegiance to the INDIA alliance. Regarding Rahul Gandhi's Nyay Yatra passing through Bengal, she noted, "We have not been informed about it."
