UP, 20 March, 24: In a shocking incident that has rocked the town of Badaun in Uttar Pradesh, barber Sazid Sheikh brutally slit the throats of two young brothers, 8-year-old Ayush Thakur and 6-year-old Ahan Thakur, with a straight razor. Following the brutal attack, an enraged mob descended upon Sheikh's shop, vandalizing the premises and attempting to take justice into their own hands. However, prompt police intervention managed to save Sheikh from the fury of the crowd.

The police reached the spot and the accused tried to escape. The accused fired at the police and was killed in retaliatory fire. The accused died on the spot... The accused is aged between 25-30..."
