Modi Mocks Rahul Gandhi's Election Strategy: "Fled from Wayanad"

In a recent interaction, Chitra Tripathi questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi's predictions for the upcoming elections. Tripathi highlighted Rahul Gandhi's candidacy in Raebareli and the BJP's ambitious claims for Uttar Pradesh.

PM Modi responded with a hint of sarcasm, emphasizing that Rahul Gandhi's significance is often overstated by the media. He pointed out Rahul's previous stronghold, Amethi, which was lost in the 2019 elections. "After losing, he didn't go there even once," remarked Modi.

Regarding UP's electoral landscape, Modi expressed confidence in the NDA's performance, suggesting they could secure all 80 seats. However, he acknowledged Rahul Gandhi's presence in Raebareli, a bastion for the Congress party.

Modi's sharpest remarks came when discussing Rahul's dual candidacy in Wayanad, Kerala, and Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh. "Most shocking results will come from South. That's why, he has fled from Wayanad also," quipped Modi, eliciting laughter.

While Modi's comments may be seen as political banter, they reflect the ongoing rivalry between the BJP and the Congress, with each party striving to outmaneuver the other in the upcoming elections.
