Delhi, 2 June: In a heartfelt post on X, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced his plans to surrender to Tihar Jail today after spending 21 days campaigning, a period granted by a Supreme Court order. Kejriwal expressed his deep gratitude to the Supreme Court for allowing him this time.

“On the Supreme Court’s order, I was out for 21 days for election campaigning. My sincere thanks to the honorable Supreme Court,” Kejriwal wrote.

Kejriwal shared his itinerary for the day, starting with a visit to Rajghat to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, followed by a stop at the Hanuman Temple in Connaught Place to seek blessings. He will then head to the Aam Aadmi Party office to meet with party workers and leaders before proceeding to Tihar Jail.

"I will leave home at 3 PM. First, I will visit Rajghat to pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi. From there, I will go to the Hanuman Temple in Connaught Place for blessings. After that, I will meet all the party workers and leaders at the party office. Then I will head to Tihar," he detailed in his post.

Kejriwal's message to his supporters was filled with concern and encouragement. "Take care of yourselves. I will be worried about all of you while in jail. If you stay happy, your Kejriwal in jail will also stay happy. Jai Hind!"
