GUJARAT, 6 July 2024: Union Home Minister Amit Shah recently announced a significant decision by the Gujarat Chief Minister regarding nano urea. The government has introduced a 50% subsidy on both nano urea and nano-DAP. This move aims to help farmers by making these advanced fertilizers more affordable.
Amit Shah urged farmers to switch to liquid nano urea and nano-DAP for their crops. He emphasized that using these liquid fertilizers means there is no need to use granular urea, which can harm crops and soil. The liquid versions are enough to ensure crop health and boost productivity.
To further support farmers, the government has also reduced the prices of these fertilizers. Shah encouraged farmers to take advantage of these reduced prices to improve their farming practices.
Additionally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the 'Drone Didi Scheme'. This program encourages training women to use drones for spraying fertilizers, promoting modern and efficient farming methods.
