Despite medical efforts, the legendary business leader, known for his transformative leadership of the Tata Group and his contributions to philanthropy, sadly passed away.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his deep sorrow and heartfelt tribute to the legendary business leader, Ratan Tata, following his passing. Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), PM Modi remembered Tata not just as an outstanding business visionary but also as a compassionate soul whose impact transcended the corporate world.

In his post, the Prime Minister described Tata as a leader who provided "stable leadership to one of India’s oldest and most prestigious business houses." He highlighted Tata’s humility, kindness, and unwavering commitment to societal betterment, which endeared him to countless people.
