Srinagar: RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, speaking at an event, emphasized the importance of unity within the Hindu society, urging all segments to come together for their collective security. He highlighted that despite advancements and peace initiatives, internal divisions still pose a significant threat to the overall well-being of the community.
Bhagwat stressed that the time has come for the Hindu community to transcend barriers of language, caste, and regional differences. “For the security of Hindu society, we must unite and eliminate the disparities that divide us,” he said, addressing the gathering. He pointed out that these divisions have historically weakened the community, and now more than ever, solidarity is essential.
In a pointed remark, Bhagwat acknowledged the rapid development and restoration of peace in various regions, including Jammu and Kashmir, under the BJP-led government. However, he raised concerns about the political landscape in Kashmir, where, despite significant progress, BJP candidates are expected to lose their deposits in upcoming elections. This, he suggested, is indicative of the complex dynamics in the region, which need a concerted effort to address.
Bhagwat’s call for unity comes at a time when the socio-political climate in India remains charged, with the RSS playing a central role in shaping discussions on national security, cultural identity, and political cohesion. His message aligns with the organization's broader vision of a unified and resilient Hindu society that can withstand both internal and external challenges.
As political tensions simmer in various parts of the country, particularly in Kashmir, Bhagwat’s message serves as a reminder of the need for collective efforts in fostering a united front to ensure long-term stability and growth.
This call to action resonates with the broader agenda of the RSS to create a harmonious and strong nation, free from internal strife.
