Donald Trump Condemns Violence in Bangladesh, Promises Support for Hindu Americans and Strong Ties with India

Trump Promises to Strengthen Partnership with India, Citing Close Ties with PM Modi and a Shared Commitment to Global Stability
In a recent post on X, former U.S. President Donald Trump condemned ongoing violence in Bangladesh, where reports of attacks on Hindus, Christians, and other minorities have sparked concern. Trump stated, "I strongly condemn the barbaric violence against Hindus, Christians, and other minorities who are getting attacked and looted by mobs in Bangladesh, which remains in a total state of chaos." He asserted that such incidents would not have occurred under his leadership.

Trump criticized the current U.S. administration, saying, "Kamala and Joe have ignored Hindus across the world and in America," while noting their “disastrous” handling of issues from the Israel conflict and Ukraine crisis to the U.S. southern border situation. Trump emphasized a return to "Peace through Strength" under his vision to “Make America Strong Again.”

Addressing Hindu Americans directly, Trump promised protection against what he described as the "anti-religion agenda of the radical left." He pledged to uphold religious freedoms and strengthen ties with India, highlighting his relationship with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. "Under my administration, we will also strengthen our great partnership with India and my good friend, Prime Minister Modi," he added.

Trump also took aim at Vice President Kamala Harris, warning that her policies would hurt small businesses with "more regulations and higher taxes." In contrast, he emphasized his record of tax cuts, reduced regulations, and an empowered American energy sector, which he believes propelled the U.S. economy to historic heights. "We will do it again, bigger and better than ever before—and we will Make America Great Again," Trump declared.

Ending his message with a nod to the Hindu festival of Diwali, Trump wrote, "Happy Diwali to All. I hope the Festival of Lights leads to the Victory of Good over Evil!" His message was seen as a reassurance to Hindu communities globally, reflecting his pledge to safeguard their interests and values.
