Islamkot, Tharparkar: In a deeply tragic incident, two Hindu girls, Hema (15) and Venti (17), were found hanging from a tree in Pakistan’s Tharparkar district, triggering widespread fear and outrage. The shocking event highlights the ongoing challenges faced by minority communities, particularly Hindus, in the country.

Global Outrage Over Minority Rights
The incident has sparked a wave of concern among Hindus worldwide, with many raising questions about the safety and dignity of minorities in Pakistan. Activists and concerned citizens have condemned the lack of action and accountability for the persecution of Hindus and other minority groups in the country.

A social media user expressed frustration over the lack of global attention to such incidents, asking, “Where are international bodies like @UNHumanRights to address such cases and advocate for the protection of minorities? Why is the Western media ignoring the plight of Hindus in Pakistan?”

Pawan Kalyan Expresses Deep Pain
Indian actor and politician Pawan Kalyan also voiced his anguish on social media. “It pains a lot to see our Hindu sisters in Pakistan going through such atrocities and losing their lives. Every time I see such news about the plight of Hindus in Pakistan and Bangladesh, it pains me deeply. I pray for Hema and Venti’s departed souls with tears,” he wrote.

Escalating Concerns Over Minority Persecution
The incident has reignited debates on the safety and rights of minority communities in Pakistan, where reports of forced conversions, abductions, and violence against Hindus are frequently highlighted. Activists have called for international intervention to ensure justice and protection for minorities facing relentless discrimination and persecution.

Lack of Global Response
Despite the severity of such incidents, global institutions and media outlets have been criticized for their muted response. Advocacy groups are urging organizations like the United Nations and international human rights bodies to take a stronger stance and press for reforms to safeguard minority rights in Pakistan.

As the investigation into this horrific incident continues, the international community faces renewed calls to act against the systemic challenges faced by minorities in Pakistan.
