Mohan Bhagwat Urges Harmony Amid Temple-Mosque Disputes in India
India must show the world that Hindus and Muslims can coexist peacefully," says RSS Chief

In a bold statement addressing the rising instances of temple-mosque disputes in India, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has urged communities to prioritize unity and mutual coexistence over divisive agendas. Speaking on the matter, Bhagwat emphasized the need for a harmonious relationship between Hindus and Muslims, setting an example for the world.

Referring to the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, Bhagwat remarked, “After the construction of Ram Mandir, some people think they can become leaders of Hindus by raking up similar issues in new places. This is not acceptable. This cannot continue.” He further stressed that India must demonstrate that people of different faiths can live together in peace.

Bhagwat’s comments come amid growing concerns over the politicization of religious issues in the country. By urging people to move beyond contentious disputes and work toward collective development, Bhagwat reinforced the importance of India's pluralistic culture.

This statement from the RSS chief is being seen as a call for introspection among various groups and individuals who attempt to exploit religious sentiments for political or personal gains. His message underscores the need for fostering an environment where diverse communities can coexist respectfully.

Observers believe that such remarks from prominent leaders like Bhagwat carry the potential to influence public discourse and encourage communities to embrace India's ethos of unity in diversity.
